Expanding our knowledge

As part of Farrell’s continued integration of Lean principles within the business, we carried out a course of Yellow Belt problem solving training with six of our employees.

Six Farrell employees took part in the programme which involved attending multiple classroom training sessions, as well as completing a project within each of their areas of expertise. The aim of these projects was to eliminate specific, non-value-add elements within their roles.

The programme resulted in a series of high quality, informative projects, while each participant who completed the training was presented with a certificate from Joint-CEOs Brendan and Paul Farrell.

Congratulations to the participants; Bina Butler, Breda Farrell, Glen McGuirk, Justin Reilly, Marcin Piskorowski and Tomasz Kubik.

What is Lean?

What is Lean?

The core ethos behind Lean is to maximise customer value while minimising waste. If utilised correctly Lean ensures you create more value for customers while using fewer resources.

In 2020, Farrell will continue to focus on deploying Lean problem solving methods across all areas of the company in order to provide optimum value for our customers.
