Kevin’s Fundraiser – Jump for Rare

14.02.2024

Introducing our employee and friend Kevin Christy and his grand-daughter Evie-Rose.

Kevin has ambitiously signed up to complete a sky-dive to raise money for Rare Ireland and more specifically for his grand-daughter Evie-Rose.

Evie was born with a rare genetic condition called Koolen de Vries syndrome. Rare has been a support system for Evie as well as approximately 2,000 children and their families throughout Ireland.

About Rare
Rare Ireland is a non-profit organisation run solely by volunteers who support children and their families affected by rare conditions such as chromosome abnormalities, neurological conditions, autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders and childhood cancers.

The children often present with developmental delay, intellectual disability, autism, epilepsy and more. Some of the children and adults at Rare remain undiagnosed throughout their lifetime.

Kevin’s Skydive
Not for the faint-hearted, the height of the dive is a staggering 10,000 ft! When funds are raised, the skydive will take place in Clonbullogue Airfield, Clonad, Clinbullogue, Co Offaly.

How to donate
The target is a minimum of €560 per skydive but we would love to raise as much as we can as it all goes directly to supporting these families across Ireland.

We would like to wish Kevin the very best of luck from everyone in Farrell.
