Challenge
The client required a blend of ensuite apartments to allow students to enjoy their own bedroom and bathroom while still getting a buzzing atmosphere of a shared living room and kitchen with other students. The project required close collaboration with John Sisk & Sons, Roundhill Capital, O’Mahony Pike Architects and NIDO in order to deliver a wonderfully-conceived and thoughtfully-designed student accommodation facility to serve students.
Solution
Farrell was responsible for the design, manufacture, delivery and installation of a variety of tailor-made bedroom, wardrobe, storage, sitting, kitchenette, dining and study furniture solutions. The residence is home to over 140 students each year, made up of two parallel buildings with a central courtyard for communal gathering.
