Challenge
The challenge was to create a space that meets the diverse needs of students while maintaining high standards of comfort, functionality, and sustainability. This included designing contemporary en-suite bedrooms with large double beds, study areas, shelving, integrated magnetic whiteboards, USB ports, and adjustable lighting. Shared living/kitchen areas also needed to be fully equipped.
Solution
Farrell manufactured and provided fitted furniture for all bedrooms and kitchens. Kitchens featured Metis Ice Solid Surface Worktops, light grey Egger units, and fully integrated appliances.
Bedrooms included an easy-lift double bed, a study area with a desk and chair, and open storage with a bookcase overhead, all with integrated LED lighting. The furniture combined Egger Natural Davos Oak H3131 ST12 and Egger U708 Light Grey finishes, with wardrobes featuring soft-close drawers.
