Inspection

Following an audit carried out, the team at Farrell are delighted to have been recently awarded the internationally recognised Health & Safety standard ISO 45001:2018. Carried out by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), Farrell was inspected both on-site at our manufacturing facility in Ardee Co. Louth, as well as an on-going residential project – which we are manufacturing and installing for John Paul Construction – in Dublin.

What is ISO45001:2018?

What is ISO45001:2018?

ISO45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance which enables organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces. This is achieved by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its health and safety performance.

Setting the standard

Setting the standard

Farrell as an organisation has always been very conscious of our responsibilities to ensure the appropriate health and safety procedures have been in place. As such, we are delighted to have been awarded with this accreditation. Our team has worked tremendously hard over recent months to not only achieve this award, but put the appropriate procedures in place to ensure we continuously improve moving forward. The addition of ISO45001:2018 will complement our existing quality management (ISO 9001:2015) and environmental management (ISO 14001:2015) standards which have been in place for many years.
