Farrell is delighted to have been shortlisted for an award in the upcoming FX International Interior Design Awards to be held on 28th November 2018.
The company’s Elements office furniture range has been included in a list of 11 finalists in the category of ‘Public, Leisure or Office Furniture’.
Elements is a collaboration between Farrell designer, Conor Farrell and John Walsh from Dublin based design company, Made.
The innovative furniture range – which has proved very popular with clients – is a unique collection of height adjustable, sit-stand furniture that puts users, ergonomics, comfort and healthy working at the fore.
The design allows office workers to electronically move their desk from a sitting to standing position with the touch of a button and was designed in line with employers becoming more mindful of employees’ wellbeing. It’s a simple solution to an age-old problem.
Recent studies have shown that sedentary behaviour leads to lifestyle related diseases. The Elements furniture range, including the sit-stand desk, can reduce inactivity and therefore decrease the risk of lifestyle related diseases.
The FX International Interior Design Awards celebrate world-class design excellence in a ceremony held in the Grosvenor Hotel, London. Judges from all disciplines are the very best from the contract design industry, including designers, architects, engineers and clients.
