Sky-high solutions for International aviation firm

Context

Farrell partnered with CRM Interior Fit-Outs to deliver custom furniture solutions for global aircraft leasing firm, Aircastle Limited.

This project, completed in April 2023, involved designing and manufacturing bespoke desks based on the client’s requirements, as well as providing storage and seating solutions for their office across two floors at Kildare Street in Dublin.

TU Dublin

Top mark furniture fit-out for expanding college campus

Context

Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) is Ireland’s first technological university, established on 1 January 2019 and with a history stretching back to 1887 through the amalgamated Dublin Institute of Technology.

The university was formed by the amalgamation of three existing institutes of technology in the Dublin area – Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, and Institute of Technology, Tallaght, taking over all functions and operations of these institutions. The university asserts an entrepreneurial ethos and industry-focused approach, with extensive collaboration with industry for research and teaching. TU Dublin’s new flagship campus is located in Grangegorman, Dublin. TU Dublin is now the second-largest third-level institution in Ireland, with a student population of 28,500.

As part of the centralisation of the previous institutes onto the one campus, TU Dublin has been expanding its new site at Grangegorman. In 2017, TU Dublin purchased Park House, a 10,500 square metre and 7-storey building on the edge of the campus with plans to occupy the upper ground, first and second floor with a new dedicated library facility and other services for college students.

Tenable Network Security

High-performing furniture fitout for international cyber-security provider

Context

Tenable Network Security is a leading international cyber-security services provider. We were chosen as sole furniture supplier on this prestigious project in the heart of Dublin City Centre’s technology hub, delivering agile, high-performing and beautifully designed furniture for a unique and impressive modern office space in Sir John Rogerson’s Quay. Working closely with leading contractor FKM Group, we were tasked with designing, manufacturing and installing over 70 sit-to-stand workstations, meeting furniture and storage walls, all customised to capture Tenable’s brand and energy.

Miesian Plaza

Delivering landmark layout and style for landmark Dublin building

Context

A key landmark building in the centre of Dublin, Miesian Plaza required a total refurbishment and furniture fit-out to suit the mixed needs of a number of new private and public sector clients. Working with Scott Tallon Walker Architects, Farrell was contracted to design, manufacture and fit out the furniture package adhering to stringent criteria for quality, performance, ergonomics and sustainability.

Bord Gáis energy is one of Ireland’s leading energy suppliers, supplying gas and electricity to homes and businesses all over Ireland. Their office in Warrington place in Dublin City required a complete re-fit. Superior manufacturing lead time and design expertise was key for the partner delivering the furniture solutions package on behalf of Henry J Lyons, project architect.

Farrell was chosen as furniture partners for this rapidly expanding international organisation to refurbish its Irish operation in Co. Meath, capturing its cutting-edge energy in curated spaces.

Zalando

Fashionable fit-out for Europe’s biggest online fashion retailer

Context

Zalando is Europe’s biggest dedicated online fashion retailer. Having opened its first Irish office in Barrow Street – the centre of Ireland’s high-tech area known as the Silicon Docks – Zalando subsequently moved to an open office in Grand Canal Quay. We had the pleasure of partnering with Zalando and FKM Group to design, manufacture and install a flexible, tailor-made office furniture solution for Zalando that would work in both locations. With ambitious lead-times, bespoke solutions and further expansion plans at the heart of this exciting and challenging project, we designed an adaptable furniture solution to an aggressive timeline.
